Easy Flourless Cheese Sauce from A Village Crossroad

Place in small sauce pan in this order:

½ cup milk

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon dry mustard powder

1 teaspoon granulated onion

8 oz sharp cheddar cheese

8 oz Velveeta-type cheese (VONS: “smooth melting”)

 

Please on low heat.  Allow 20 minutes to melt.  Half way through melting, begin stirring often.  This is a great sauce for cauliflower or broccoli, two veggies in season now!
